Anduril Industries is seeking an MRB Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead the Air Dominance and Strike MRB team responsible for evaluating nonconforming mechanical hardware on Group 5 air vehicles and missiles.

You will hire and mentor engineers, set technical standards, and coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Design Engineering, and Supply Chain to keep production flowing while maintaining airworthiness and safety standards across programs. Occasional travel to vendor sites is expected.

Formación

• B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years mechanical engineering in production, depot, or maintenance.
• 2+ years leading or managing engineers.
• Proficient in 3D CAD and GD&T.
• Experience with structural/ mechanical analysis (stress, deflection, fatigue) and hand/FEA methods.
• Eligible for U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and grow a team of mechanical sustainment engineers evaluating nonconforming hardware.
• Hire, mentor, and develop engineers; establish MRB signature paths.
• Set technical standards and review high-risk dispositions.
• Own team workload and ensure on-schedule dispositions.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Design Eng., and Supply Chain to resolve blockers.
• Drive RCCA programs to reduce nonconformances and production escapes.
• Build and improve MRB processes, tools, and standard work.
• Report throughput, nonconformance trends, and risk to leadership.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers on MRB discipline and cross-functional coordination.
• Travel to vendor/production/test sites as needed.
