Job summary
CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager for MQ and ACE Engineering to lead strategy, architecture, and delivery of IBM MQ and ACE platforms across enterprise environments. You will drive reliability, security, and cost efficiency while guiding teams and partnering with Architecture, Infrastructure, and Security leaders.
The ideal candidate combines deep IBM MQ/ACE expertise with strong leadership and governance capabilities to deliver scalable integration services supporting digital
Qualifications
- 7+ years supporting enterprise integration, middleware, messaging, or platform engineering.
- 5+ years leading engineering, platform, infrastructure, or technology teams.
- 5+ years administering, architecting, and optimizing IBM MQ environments.
- 4+ years designing, developing, and supporting IBM ACE or IBM IIB solutions.
- 3+ years implementing high-availability architectures, disaster recovery, DevOps automation, CI/CD, and cloud integration.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering, operations, modernization, and improvements of IBM MQ and ACE platforms.
- Define and execute platform strategy, standards, and governance with stakeholders.
- Drive automation, performance optimization, capacity planning, and DR readiness.
- Coach and develop high-performing engineering teams with ownership and collaboration.
- Manage vendor relationships and delivery of complex integration initiatives.
