Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager for MQ and ACE Engineering to lead strategy, architecture, and delivery of enterprise IBM MQ and ACE platforms. You will oversee reliability, security, governance, and operational excellence across mission-critical environments, partnering with Architecture, Cloud, Security, and Application teams.

The ideal candidate has deep IBM MQ/ACE expertise, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering complex integration initiatives with a focus on automation

Qualifications

• 7+ years supporting enterprise integration, middleware, messaging, or platform engineering environments in large-scale orgs.
• 5+ years leading engineering, platform, infrastructure, or technology teams with delivery, operations, and talent development
• 5+ years administering, architecting, and optimizing IBM MQ environments (performance, resiliency, troubleshooting)
• 4+ years designing, developing, and supporting ACE/IIB solutions in enterprise landscapes
• 3+ years implementing high-availability, DR, DevOps automation, CI/CD, and hybrid/cloud integration

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering, operations, modernization, and continuous improvement of IBM MQ and ACE platforms.
• Define and execute MQ/ACE strategy, roadmap, and governance with stakeholders.
• Drive platform automation, performance optimization, capacity planning, and DR readiness.
• Lead, coach, and develop engineering teams fostering ownership and accountability.
• Manage vendor relationships, support models, and technology lifecycle planning for complex integrations
