Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager, MQ and ACE Engineering to lead the strategy, architecture, delivery, and operations of enterprise messaging and integration platforms, including IBM MQ and ACE, across mission-critical environments. You will drive reliability, scalability, and governance while shaping modernization initiatives.

We are looking for a leader who can build high-performing teams, champion automation, and collaborate with Applications, Infrastructure, Security, and Enterprise

Qualifications

• 7+ years in enterprise integration or middleware.
• 5+ years leading engineering teams.
• 5+ years administering IBM MQ environments.
• 4+ years designing IBM ACE or IIB solutions.
• 3+ years implementing high-availability, DR, CI/CD in hybrid/cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering, operations, modernization, and continuous improvement of enterprise IBM MQ and IBM ACE platforms, ensuring reliability, scalability, security, and performance.
• Define and execute the MQ and ACE platform strategy, roadmap, standards, and governance with stakeholders.
• Drive platform automation, operational efficiency, performance optimization, capacity planning, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Lead, coach, and develop high-performing engineering teams while fostering ownership, innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
• Manage strategic vendor relationships, support models, technology lifecycle planning, and delivery of complex enterprise integration initiatives.
