Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager for MQ and ACE Engineering to drive strategy, architecture, and delivery of enterprise messaging and integration platforms, including IBM MQ and IBM App Connect Enterprise. You will lead cross‑functional teams, shape roadmaps, and ensure secure, scalable, and cost‑efficient services that enable connectivity and digital transformation.

Qualifications

7+ years supporting enterprise integration, middleware, messaging, or platform engineering environments within large‑scale organizations.
5+ years leading engineering, platform, infrastructure, or technology teams with accountability for delivery, operations, and talent development.
3+ years designing, developing, and supporting IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) or IBM Integration Bus (IIB) solutions across complex enterprise integration landscapes.

Responsibilities

Lead the engineering, operations, modernization, and continuous improvement of enterprise IBM MQ and IBM ACE platforms, ensuring reliability, scalability, security, and performance.
Define and execute the MQ and ACE platform strategy, roadmap, standards, and governance in partnership with engineering, infrastructure, security, and architecture stakeholders.
Drive platform automation, operational efficiency, performance optimization, capacity planning, disaster recovery readiness, and continuous service improvement through modern engineering practices.
Lead, coach, and develop high‑performing engineering teams while fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
Manage strategic vendor relationships, support models, technology lifecycle planning, and delivery of complex enterprise integration initiatives.
