Job summary

Horrocks is seeking a Design-Build MOT Lead/Manager in Meridian, ID to drive transportation MOT design for pursuits and projects. You will lead engineering teams, coordinate with discipline leads, and ensure successful delivery of MOT schemes in collaboration with contractor partners.

You should bring 10+ years of MOT/traffic control leadership, 3+ years of DOT DB/PDB experience, and a PE license or strong preference for licensure. This role emphasizes client relations and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leading MOT/traffic control designs for infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience.
• Must be able to work effectively as a team leader and maintain positive client relationships.
• Outstanding client and personnel communication skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead MOT engineering teams for transportation DB and/or PDB pursuits and projects.
• Coordinate with other discipline leads.
• Integral member of the project delivery team.
• Lead MOT design development and coordination.
• Collaborate with contractor partners to develop MOT schemes during pursuits and final traffic control plans.
• Ensure delivery of designs using Microstation, OpenRoads and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Maintain positive relationships with team members and clients.
• Be available for local and Rocky Mountain Region projects.
• Communicate effectively with clients, staff and management.
