Newrez LLC in Coppell, TX is seeking a Document Administration – Title Specialist III to review, prepare, execute, and record mortgage documents ensuring clear chain of title for loans serviced by SMS. You will liaise with borrowers, investors, and vendors to ensure accurate documentation in all systems.

You should have deep knowledge of title abstracts, land records, and mortgage documents, with strong attention to detail, timelines, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Advanced understanding of mortgage servicing and originations.
• Advanced knowledge of all servicing systems and custodial systems.
• Advanced knowledge of abstracting land records and reviewing title reports.

Responsibilities

• Review/abstract land records, title reports and documents to determine needed items for perfecting security interest.
• Prepare required documents (Lien Release, Assignments of Mortgage, Allonges, etc.) for SMS loans.
• Review documents for thoroughness, accuracy, and SLA adherence.
• Address inquiries from vendors, investors, and Portfolio Managers.
• Update and annotate actions in all systems.
• Prepare management and investor reporting.
• Perform monthly inventory audits with custodians and file room.
