Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking an experienced Loan Processor in Florence, SC to deliver high-quality service by gathering documents, underwriting support, and accurate disclosures. You will work closely with loan officers and borrowers to ensure timely, compliant processing of loans.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in residential mortgage processing, strong knowledge of RESPA and related regulations, and proficiency with Encompass and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years’ residential mortgage processing experience.
• Experience with Encompass.
• Knowledge of RESPA, Regulation Z and Regulation B.
• Familiar with DU, LP, Microsoft Office and Windows.
• Strong math, analytical and communication skills.
• Excellent prioritization and time management.

Responsibilities

• Review borrower credit, employment, income and assets for underwriting.
• Assemble loan packages for underwriting.
• Verify required documentation and pre-underwrite.
• Prepare loan approvals and disclosures.
• Communicate with loan originator, customer and underwriter.
• Ensure compliance with mortgage regulations.
• Coordinate with vendors for surveys, certificates, payoff info.
• Manage pipeline and reporting.
• Assist in loan setup and closing processes.
• Train and supervise junior processors.
• Assist in servicing to clear suspense items.
