Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a Loan Processor to deliver high-quality customer service by collecting necessary documentation to underwrite loans and order third-party items. You will communicate with customers and Loan Officers, ensuring disclosures are provided as required by law.

The role requires at least five years of residential mortgage processing experience, proficiency with Encompass, and strong knowledge of RESPA, Reg Z, and Reg B.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential mortgage processing experience.
• Experience with Encompass.
• Knowledge of RESPA regulations and Reg Z/B requirements.
• Knowledge of DU and LP, Microsoft Office, and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Review borrower credit, employment, income, and assets for underwriting.
• Assemble loan package in proper order for underwriting.
• Verify required documentation and pre-underwrite items.
• Prepare loan approval summary, Forms 1008 and 1003, and ensure document accuracy.
• Coordinate with Loan Originator, customer, and Underwriter to obtain missing docs.
• Review loans for compliance with mortgage regulations (RESPA, TIL, Reg B).
• Coordinate with vendors to obtain Survey, Flood Certificate, Title Commitment, and payoff info.
• Manage pipeline and submit reports within turn-around times.
• Assist in set-up of loans and close processes.
• Document all loan application communications in the log.
• Train and assist supervision of new Loan Processors.
