Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a skilled Loan Processor to handle borrower documentation, underwriting preparation, and regulatory compliance. You will review credit data, assemble loan packages, and ensure all disclosures meet RESPA and other regulations.

The role supports Loan Officers and Underwriters, communicating clearly to obtain required documents and maintain a smooth pipeline. This position requires a minimum of five years in residential mortgage processing, strong analytical

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years’ residential mortgage processing experience.
• Experience with Encompass.
• Working knowledge of RESPA regulations and general mortgage lending rules.
• Knowledge of DU, LP, Microsoft Office and Windows.
• Excellent math and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review borrower credit, income, employment, and assets per loan program before underwriting.
• Assemble complete loan package in proper order for underwriting.
• Verify required documentation (pre-underwrite) in the file.
• Complete the loan checklist.
• Verify that an application is complete and accurate; identify underwriting issues.
• Prepare loan approval summary and forms; liaise with Loan Originator, customer, and Underwriter for documents.
• Review loans for compliance with mortgage regulations and prepare disclosures.
• Obtain Property Survey, Flood Certificate, Title Commitment, and payoff information.
• Verify vendor orders are complete and invoices in the applicant’s E-file.
• Manage pipeline by completing and submitting reports on time.
• Assist loan setup.
• Document all loan communications in the conversation log.
• Assist closing, secondary marketing, and servicing to clear suspense items.
• Available to work varying hours and overtime as needed.
