Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a Senior Loan Processor to deliver excellent customer service by gathering documentation to underwrite loans and communicating with customers and loan officers. The role requires handling disclosures as required by local, state, and federal regulations, and ensuring compliance throughout the process.

You will review borrower information, assemble the loan package for underwriting, verify documents, and manage the pipeline to meet turnaround times.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ residential mortgage processing experience.
• Working knowledge of RESPA regulations and general mortgage lending regulations, including Regulation Z and Regulation B.
• Excellent math and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough review and analysis of borrower’s credit, employment, income, and assets as required by loan program.
• Assemble complete loan package in proper order for underwriting.
• Verify required documentation (pre-underwrite) in the file.
• Complete the required loan checklist.
• Verify applications are complete and accurate; identify issues for underwriting.
• Prepare a loan approval summary, Forms 1008 and 1003, ensuring accuracy of printed information.
• Communicate with Loan Originator, customer, and underwriter to obtain missing documentation.
• Review loans for compliance with mortgage regulations and prepare disclosures.
