Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a detail‑oriented Loan Processor to join our growing team in a fast‑paced residential mortgage environment. You will gather and verify borrower information, assemble packages for underwriting, and ensure adherence to RESPA and other mortgage regulations while coordinating with the loan officer and underwriter.

Strong communication, math, and time management skills are essential. Prior experience with Encompass and a robust benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ residential mortgage processing experience.
• Experience with Encompass.
• Working knowledge of RESPA regulations and general mortgage lending regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review borrower’s credit, employment, income, and assets for underwriting.
• Assemble loan package in proper order for underwriting.
• Verify required documentation and disclosures.
• Prepare loan approval summary and ensure accuracy on documents.
• Communicate with Loan Originator, customer, and Underwriter to obtain missing documentation.
• Review loans for compliance with mortgage regulations (RESPA, TIL, Reg. B, Reg. Z).
• Manage pipeline and complete reports within turn‑around times.
• Assist with loan setup, closing, and loan servicing activities.
