Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC seeks an experienced Loan Processor to deliver high-quality service by gathering and organizing documentation for underwriting. You will interact with customers, loan officers and underwriters to obtain necessary items and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires a minimum of five years in residential mortgage processing, familiarity with Encompass, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ residential mortgage processing experience.
• Experience with Encompass.
• Working knowledge of RESPA regulations and general mortgage/lending regulations including Regulation Z & B.

Responsibilities

• Review borrower credit, employment, income and assets for loan underwriting.
• Assemble loan package in proper order for underwriting.
• Verify required documentation and complete loan checklist.
• Prepare loan approval summary and forms; coordinate with Loan Originator, customer and Underwriter.
• Ensure compliance with mortgage-related regulations and disclosures.
• Coordinate with vendors for property survey, title, payoff information.
• Manage pipeline and assist in loan setup and closing as needed.
• Document all communication in the loan application log.
