Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a Senior Home Lending Advisor to serve as the primary contact for customers throughout the loan lifecycle. You will help clients navigate mortgage options while adhering to regulatory requirements and leveraging company marketing resources.

You will join a motivated team focused on guiding clients toward homeownership, developing strong client relationships, and staying current with FHA/VA/FNMA/FHLMC guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate.
• 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking.
• Knowledge of the local real estate market.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Coaches and mentors the branch team by providing training on products and services.
• Meets with customers and introduces new clients to bankers for additional products and services.
• Collaborates with the team to deliver a strong customer experience using marketing and outreach efforts.
• Develops partnerships with retail branches to promote mortgage originations in footprint territories.
• Builds expertise as the internal/external mortgage expert and maintains client relationships.
• Provides consultative recommendations based on financial analysis and customer needs.
