Job summary

Bonterra is seeking a Staff Monetization and Pricing Strategist to build its first dedicated pricing function. This senior individual-contributor role owns willingness-to-pay research, value metric design, packaging, and AI pricing across SaaS products and an expanding AI line.

You will assess existing foundations, stand up strategy and governance, and partner with the CPO and other executives to align pricing with 2027+ operating plans, ensuring rigorous methodology and scalable processes.

Qualifications

• Have run willingness-to-pay studies and defended pricing decisions to a CFO.
• Able to design value metrics and packaging for a multi-product portfolio.
• Experience with AI pricing and value-based pricing frameworks.
• Demonstrated cross-functional influence with CPO, CFO, CRO and CEO.
• Thrives as an individual contributor with senior-level impact.

Responsibilities

• Own willingness-to-pay research and value metric design for our AI and SaaS portfolio.
• Define packaging architecture including tiers, features, and bundles.
• Build competitive pricing intelligence and align with market best practices.
• Deliver the first annual pricing benchmark study for board readiness.
• Provide pricing input on new product investments and forecast revenue impact.
• Partner with senior leaders to drive Pricing Committee reviews and governance.
