Job summary

Bonterra is seeking a Staff Monetization and Pricing Strategist to build its first dedicated pricing function. You will own the discipline end to end, including willingness-to-pay research, value metric design, packaging architecture, and AI pricing methodologies across a SaaS portfolio and AI product line.

You'll be the first hire in pricing, reporting to the CPO, and you’ll shape the strategy, governance, and cadence from scratch, with investments in the right tools to succeed.

Qualifications

• Pricing methodology knowledge and ability to defend methods to executives.
• Ability to formalize pricing structures and metrics at scale.
• Understanding of AI pricing trends and how to apply them to SaaS and AI products.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with product, finance, and leadership.
• Experience operating without a team at launch and driving methodology.

Responsibilities

• Own willingness-to-pay research and value metric design for Bonterra Que and broader product portfolio.
• Define packaging architecture including tiers, feature gating, and bundles for current and new Que AI skills.
• Build competitive pricing intelligence and advise on pricing governance and strategy.
• Deliver the first annual pricing benchmark study and provide pricing inputs for new product investments.
• Partner with CPO on Pricing Committee reviews and represent pricing methodology at senior levels.
