Job summary

Cox Automotive - USA is seeking a Sr Mobile Trailer Technician to perform certified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and advanced repairs at customer sites. This on-site role requires strong diagnostic skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with a high level of independence.

Travel is heavy, and the position offers hourly pay with potential additional incentives. Applicants must meet DOT requirements and bring tools and experience in trailer systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 5 years’ related experience.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required duties.
• OEM training and certifications are preferred.
• Candidate must pass DOT pre-employment screening and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform PMs and DOT inspections on trailers and equipment in mobile/field environments.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair trailer equipment and systems.
• Maintain safety, compliance, and accurate documentation.
