Job summary

FleetPride in Weatherford, OK is seeking a Mobile Technician III to master preventative maintenance on all vehicle systems and train others. You will perform major repairs, advanced diagnostics, and component replacements, and will also work in the shop between service calls.

The role may require participation in an on-call rotation; candidates should have Diesel tech training, a Class A CDL (preferred), and welding experience. Safety and quality are emphasized on every job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent, with Diesel Tech training preferred.
• Class A CDL and a valid license are preferred depending on duties.
• Experience diagnosing heavy-vehicle Diesel systems and welding is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine the extent of damage or malfunction(s).
• Provide customers with preventative maintenance solutions, whenever appropriate.
• Maintain 80% productivity.
• Train new service shop employees on company procedures regarding vehicle repairs.
• Inspect orders for completion and quality before presentation or delivery to customers.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, lubrication and filter replacements.
• Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes (air, hydraulic, electric and brake accessories).
• Test drive vehicles and test components using proper equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair suspension systems including leaf and coil spring systems.
