Job summary

FleetPride is seeking an experienced Mobile Technician III to perform preventative maintenance and advanced diagnostics on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. The role includes training other technicians, performing major repairs, and working both in the shop and on service calls.

The candidate should have 7+ years of hands-on repair experience and tools to bring to the job. High school diploma or GED is required; Diesel Technology certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience repairing Class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers.
• Diesel technology knowledge; certification/degree is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; Class A CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine damage or malfunction(s).
• Provide customers with preventative maintenance solutions where appropriate.
• Train new service shop employees on company procedures regarding vehicle repairs.
• Inspect orders for completion and quality before delivery to customers.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, lubrications and filter replacements.
• Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes (air, hydraulic, electronic).
• Test drive vehicles and test components using proper equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair suspension, electrical, exhaust, steering, and air conditioning systems.
