Job summary

FleetPride, the largest after-market distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts in the U.S., is seeking a Mobile Technician III. You will master preventative maintenance, diagnose complex vehicle systems, and train other technicians.

The role includes shop work between service calls and potential on-call after hours for the location. You will inspect vehicles, perform repairs, and ensure quality before delivery, with responsibilities spanning brakes, suspensions, engines, electrical

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Diesel technology training or certification is a plus.
7+ years of experience repairing Class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers.

Responsibilities

Examine vehicles to determine damage or malfunctions.
Provide preventative maintenance solutions when appropriate.
Train new technicians on company procedures.
Inspect orders for completion and quality before delivery to customers.
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, lubrications and filter replacements.
Repair and adjust brakes, suspensions, engines and other vehicle systems.
Test drive vehicles and diagnose system failures.
Maintain a safe and organized workspace.
