Job summary

FleetPride, the largest after-market distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts in the U.S., seeks an experienced Technician III. You will perform preventative maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs across vehicle systems while mentoring junior technicians.

This on-site role requires 7+ years with Class 7/8 trucks, diesel knowledge, and the ability to train staff. Expect a safety-focused shop with provided PPE and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Diesel Technology Associates degree or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience with class 7 & 8 trucks.
• Experience repairing 53’ trailers.
• Ability to train other technicians and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine damage or malfunctions.
• Train new service shop employees on procedures.
• Inspect orders for completion and quality before delivery.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine services.
• Repair brakes, suspensions, electrical and exhaust systems.
• Test drive and diagnose vehicle systems with proper equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and safety practices.
