Job summary

Cox Fleet By Cox Automotive is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform scheduled PMs, inspections, and repairs on a range of trucks in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose complex mechanical issues, manage parts on a service truck, and document work with our TRAIT system.

The role requires ASE T8 certification within 18 months, a valid DOT background, and a current driver's license. Benefits include weekly pay, safety gear, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or GED; 3 years in a related field or 5 years in related field.
• Must possess a set of hand tools to perform duties.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months; valid DOT pre-employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections, and repairs on light to heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine, transmission, and other systems on trucks.
• Road test vehicles and document RO findings using iOS TRAIT app.
