Job summary

Cox Fleet in Fresno, CA is hiring a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and advanced repairs on light to heavy duty trucks in mobile/field settings.

You will diagnose, test, and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, manage parts and service truck operations, document findings in TRAIT app, and maintain safety and compliance with DOT/OSHA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with related field experience or alternative with certifications.
• Must supply hand tools necessary to perform duties.
• DOT/FMCSA regulations knowledge and ability to pass screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on trucks.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and document findings in Repair Orders using TRAIT app.
• Independently manage parts inventory and service truck operations.
• Maintain safety checks and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT requirements.
