Job summary

FleetPride, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Service Technician III in Houston, TX, to perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and complex repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. The role includes training junior technicians and working in-shop between calls.

You will handle advanced diagnostic work, adjust brakes, engines, and suspensions, and participate in occasional on-call rotations. A high school diploma or GED is required, with a Diesel Tech certificate/degree as a plus, and 7+ years of

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Diesel tech certificate/degree a plus.
• 7+ years of experience repairing class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers.
• Experience with advanced diagnostic operations and component replacement.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on vehicle systems and diagnose faults.
• Perform major repairs, component replacements, and advanced diagnostics.
• Train other technicians on procedures and safety.
• Perform brake, suspension, electrical, and engine repairs and tuning.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and accurate service documentation.
