Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services is seeking skilled diesel and trailer technicians in Houston, TX. Our on-site maintenance network brings expert repair services to customers with a mobile fleet team.

You will diagnose, repair, and inspect Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, perform DOT inspections, manage parts, and open repair orders on a company device. We value hands-on technicians with at least 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience, a valid driver's license, good communication, and flexibility

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Self-motivated with good organization and planning.
• Experience performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on a variety of Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
• Schedule and oversee maintenance procedures, including DOT inspections.
• Repair/Replace vehicle/trailer components.
• Open and close repair orders on a company-issued device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and other documentation in a timely fashion.
