Job summary

Agero is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to advance our ML initiatives. You will develop and deploy cutting-edge models to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction across our nationwide platform.

The role emphasizes end-to-end ML project ownership, collaboration with product and engineering teams, and ongoing model evaluation and improvement. Initial onboarding may involve travel to Medford, MA, with travel expenses covered by the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in software application development and design experience.
• 3-5 years experience working with Machine Learning systems.
• 3-5 years of experience with AWS services (ECR, S3, SageMaker).
• 5+ years experience in Python (Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-learn).
• Experience building large, complex systems, particularly web services, RESTful APIs, and continuous integration and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and algorithms to optimize operations and service delivery.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements, conduct feasibility analysis, and deliver scalable solutions.
• Lead the full lifecycle of machine learning projects, from ideation through to deployment and maintenance.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in machine learning, including model evaluation, validation, and monitoring.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in machine learning applications and processes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Stay abreast of advancements in machine learning techniques and technologies to recommend improvements and new approaches.
