Job summary

Agero is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to advance our ML initiatives. You will design, deploy, and monitor models to enhance operations and customer satisfaction, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, robust solutions.

The role requires 3–5 years in ML and software development, strong Python expertise, and experience with AWS services like S3, ECR, and SageMaker. On-site US-based position with opportunities to partner across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 3–5 years in software development and design.
• 3–5 years experience with Machine Learning systems.
• 3–5 years experience with AWS services (ECR, S3, SageMaker).
• 5+ years experience in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
• Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ML models and algorithms to optimize operations and service delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Lead full lifecycle of ML projects from ideation to deployment and maintenance.
• Ensure best practices in ML, including evaluation, validation, and monitoring.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in ML applications and processes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Stay updated on ML advancements to recommend improvements.
