Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Principal Mission Engineering Analyst to develop multi‑domain, mission‑level simulations using the AF SIM framework. You will work with SMEs and engineers to create advanced models of space, air, maritime and ground systems, applying OO programming to ensure scalable, extensible solutions and conducting rigorous results analysis for informed decision making.

Qualifications

Bachelor level degree plus extensive relevant experience (12+ years).
Master's degree with 10+ years also acceptable.
7+ years of modeling, simulation, and analysis experience (prefer AF SIM).
Proficiency in Python or MATLAB.
Deep understanding of military operations at mission/campaign level.
Experience with Agile DevSecOps practices.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop models of multi‑domain systems in mission‑level simulations using the AF SIM framework.
Create advanced models of space, air, maritime, and ground systems.
Apply object‑oriented programming to maximize simulation scalability.
Analyze results and communicate effectiveness in real‑world contexts.
Collaborate with SMEs, engineers, and analysts to boost productivity.
Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
