Job summary

Axon seeks a Senior Manager to lead Mission Engineers delivering secure, production-ready workflows and AI-enabled solutions for public safety agencies. You’ll coach senior contributors, manage a portfolio across agencies, and ensure on-site partnerships with a focus on adoption and measurable impact.

You will balance strategic leadership with hands-on guidance, drive transformation, and align technical delivery with Product and Engineering leadership while maintaining CJIS compliance and strong

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in customer-facing technical delivery, systems integration, solutions engineering, implementation consulting, or comparable environments.
• 5+ years leading and developing senior technical individual contributors in customer-facing organizations
• Proven track record delivering secure, production-ready solutions in complex customer environments
• Experience leading distributed teams across multiple customers, regions, or engagement models

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a distributed team of embedded Mission Engineers across strategic agency environments.
• Coach individuals through complex technical decisions, ambiguous problems, executive conversations, and delivery moments.
• Set expectations for ownership, technical quality, onsite partnership, production delivery, adoption, documentation, and agency impact.
• Build development plans and opportunities for Mission Engineers to expand technical range and leadership.
• Foster a culture of curiosity, candor, responsible experimentation, continuous learning, and shared accountability.
• Guide teams from discovery to production use, iteration, and sustained adoption.
