Job summary

Axon is seeking a Sr. Manager of Mission Engineering & Operations in Columbia, SC, overseeing a distributed team of Mission Engineers who partner with public safety agencies. You will coach engineers, define delivery quality, and ensure production-ready, reusable solutions that meet CJIS and security standards.

You will align field learnings with Product and Engineering, drive adoption, and scale mission-enabled workflows, automations, and AI-enabled capabilities across engagements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in customer-facing technical delivery or comparable environments.
• Experience leading and developing senior technical individual contributors.
• Proven success coaching distributed teams across multiple customers or regions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a distributed team of embedded Mission Engineers.
• Coach through complex technical decisions and high-stakes delivery moments.
• Set clear ownership, technical quality, and measurable agency impact.
