Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the operation and maintenance of building systems in a high-demand client facility. You will lead a shift, mentor technicians, and provide expert support on MHE systems to maximize reliability and performance.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience with automated conveyors and PLCs, strong knowledge of electrical principles, and experience with CMMS and SCADA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of experience with automated conveyors and controls.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with MHE safety standards per OEM and safety standards.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles and NEC.
• Ability to conduct preventative maintenance.
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with PLC programs.
• 3+ years of work order management.
• Ability to use statistics to run metrics (e.g., OEE/Up Time).
• Physical ability to stoop, stand, climb stairs/ladders and lift 50 lbs+

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain and improve functionality of materials handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Install and service relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors and motors.
• Lead and mentor work plans for emergency repair and training of technicians.
• Create and close out work orders in CMMS.
• Foster positive relationships with client and maintenance teams.
• Promote a safe working environment by following procedures.
