Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Technician to lead a shift and provide expert support for advanced MHE systems, conveyors, and automation within a major client facility.

You will optimize preventive maintenance and mentor teammates while ensuring safety and reliability across equipment such as conveyors, scanners, and SCADA-driven systems. The role requires strong PLC, electrical knowledge, and a track record of managing maintenance work orders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with automated conveyors and controls.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with MHE safety standards per OEM and safety guidelines.
• Knowledge of electrical principles, NEC, and/or industrial electronics.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with PLC programs.
• 3+ years of work order management.
• Ability to use statistical equipment to run OEE/uptime metrics.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and improve MHE and robotic systems across the facility.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Install and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, and control components.
• Lead and mentor work plans for emergencies and training for technicians.
• Build and close out work orders in CMMS.
• Cultivate positive client and operations team relationships.
• Promote a safe working environment by following procedures.
