Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Technician to support maintenance and operation of building systems for a major client facility.

You will lead a shift, guide fellow technicians, and optimize preventive maintenance focusing on conveyors, sortation, scanners, cameras, and SCADA devices. Expertise with MHE, PLCs, and CMMS is required; the role emphasizes safety, reliability, and collaborative problem-solving in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• 4+ years of experience with automated conveyors and controls.
• Proficient with PLCs, electrical theory, and schematic reading.
• Experience using CMMS and performing preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain materials handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems.
• Lead preventative maintenance procedures and audits.
• Install and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, and controls.
• Mentor technicians and support emergency repair planning.
• Create and close work orders in CMMS.
• Collaborate with Client and Operations teams to ensure safety.
