Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) seeks a Maintenance Technician III to lead a shift, mentor technicians, and oversee maintenance of building systems for a major client facility.

You will focus on reliability of conveyors, sortation, scanners, cameras, print and apply systems, and SCADA devices, while driving preventive maintenance and safety compliance. Growth opportunities within CBRE await after six months of successful service.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of experience with automated conveyors and controls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with MHE safety standards per OEM and safety standards.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, NEC, and/or industrial electronics.
• Ability to conduct preventative & procedure-based maintenance.
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with PLC programs.
• 3+ years of work order management.
• Ability to use and interpret statistical equipment to run metrics such as OEE/Up Time.
• Physical requirements include lifting heavy loads of 50lbs+.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and improve MHE and robotic systems.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors, and related equipment.
• Lead and mentor work plans for emergency repairs and training.
• Create and close out work orders in CMMS.
• Build positive relationships with the client and operations team.
• Maintain a safe working environment by following procedures.
