Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is seeking aSr. Maintenance Technician to lead maintenance and operation of building systems inside a client facility. You will guide a shift, mentor technicians, and provide Automation Engineer support.

You’ll optimize preventive maintenance for conveyors, sortation systems, SCADA devices, and other MHE equipment, build and close CMMS work orders, and cultivate strong client relationships while maintaining a safety-first environment.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in United States without visa sponsorship.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of experience with automated conveyors and controls.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with MHE safety standards per OEM and Safety standards.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, NEC, and/or industrial electronics.
• Ability to conduct preventative & procedure-based maintenance.
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) programs.
• 3+ years of work order management.
• Ability to use and interpret statistical equipment to run metrics such as OEE/Up Time.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and continuously improve functionality of materials handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems throughout the facility.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Install, maintain, and solve relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc.
• Lead and mentor work plan for emergency repair of critical assets and training plans for Maintenance Technicians.
• Build and close out work orders in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
