Job summary

Clients Blackbox, a performance marketing agency, seeks a senior paid media strategist to own client performance across media buying, strategy, messaging, and testing. You\'ll lead conversations with clients, manage Meta campaigns, write copy, and develop testing roadmaps.

Report to the Associate Director of Operations; you will diagnose performance bottlenecks, optimize funnels, set up tracking, and collaborate with editors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on paid media experience with substantial Meta advertising responsibility.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts and leading client-facing strategy conversations.
• Strong direct-response copywriting skills, including ad copy and scripts.
• Experience developing and testing creative concepts, hooks, angles, and messaging.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts and serve as the primary strategic point of contact.
• Lead bi-weekly client calls covering performance, strategy, testing priorities, and next steps.
• Prepare and send bi-weekly performance reports at least 24 hours before scheduled calls.
• Translate performance data into clear recommendations and strategic decisions.
• Build strong client relationships that support retention, renewals, and referrals.
• Proactively identify and address account risks and opportunities.
