Job summary

Clients Blackbox, Inc. is seeking a Senior Paid Media Strategist to own client performance across Meta advertising, strategy, messaging, and testing. You will manage a portfolio of accounts end to end, lead client calls, write direct-response copy, and guide creative testing.

You will report to the Associate Director of Operations and be accountable for client performance, retention, and growth. A remote-friendly, fast-moving agency environment offers opportunities to shape campaigns.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on paid media experience with Meta advertising.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts and leading client strategy conversations.
• Strong direct-response copywriting skills for ads and video scripts.
• Experience with conversion tracking, pixels, and basic marketing automation.
• Excellent communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Preference for financial services marketing and lead-generation campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts as primary strategic contact.
• Lead bi-weekly client calls covering performance, strategy, testing priorities, and next steps.
• Prepare and send bi-weekly performance reports at least 24 hours before scheduled calls.
• Translate performance data into clear recommendations and strategic decisions.
• Build strong client relationships that support retention, renewals, and referrals.
• Proactively identify and address account risks and opportunities.
• Build, launch, and optimize Meta campaigns focused on lead generation and appointment booking.
• Manage budgets, audiences, bid strategies, account structure, and creative testing.
• Monitor daily performance against cost-per-appointment and other key metrics.
• Diagnose underperforming campaigns and determine where changes are most likely to improve results.
• Develop structured testing strategies across audiences, offers, messaging, creative, and campaign variables.
• Write direct-response ad copy and video sales letter scripts for financial services audiences.
• Develop hooks, angles, offers, and messaging variations for testing.
• Use performance data to generate new creative and messaging hypotheses.
• Collaborate with video editors and provide clear creative direction.
• Use AI tools to accelerate research and copy development while maintaining quality and strategic judgment.
• Set up and troubleshoot tracking, Meta pixels, and conversion events.
• Configure Calendly integrations, Zapier automations, and lead-routing workflows.
• Identify and resolve technical issues between advertising platforms and client systems.
• Evaluate performance across media, messaging, tracking, and lead flow to identify the source of funnel problems.
