Job summary

Truist is seeking a Merchant Services sales professional to identify and develop opportunities in an assigned market. You will deliver a consultative approach, helping business clients assess their payment processing needs and proposing solutions that address those needs.

The role requires strong collaboration with bankers and product partners, a focus on new business development, and the ability to travel as needed to meet clients and prospects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
• 5+ years of sales experience of financial or payments products and/or services.
• Ability to present and communicate effectively and confidently.
• Proven experience working across departments within large financial organizations.
• Must be able to travel.

Responsibilities

• Executes sales plan and identifies opportunities to achieve revenue and portfolio growth.
• Fosters relationships with bankers and product partners for strategic planning.
• Sell payment processing solutions to clients and prospects through consultative engagement.
• Develops relationship plans to identify retention and new client acquisition opportunities.
• Provide client working capital services and receivables solutions.
