Job summary

Truist is seeking an experienced Merchant Services sales professional in the United States (Washington) to identify and develop opportunities in an assigned market. You will deliver a consultative sales approach to assess payment processing needs and provide comprehensive solutions.

Strong collaboration with internal partners and travel to client sites are expected. Responsibilities include executing sales plans, building relationships with bankers and product partners, and driving revenue while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 5+ years of sales experience in financial or payments products/services.
• Ability to present and communicate effectively and confidently.
• Proven experience working cross-functionally in large financial organizations.
• Growth mindset to adapt and resolve escalating issues.
• Mentor teammates to help growth and fulfillment.
• Must be able to travel.

Responsibilities

• Execute the sales plan and identify opportunities to drive revenue and portfolio growth.
• Foster relationships with bankers and product partners for strategic client planning.
• Sell payment processing solutions to existing clients and prospects via proactive market engagement.
• Develop relationship plans to identify retention and new client acquisition opportunities.
• Provide client working capital services and receivables solutions.
• Accurately report sales efforts, progression and revenue.
