Job summary

Early Warning is seeking a Sr. Business Development Executive for the Paze platform to lead merchant acquisition and partnerships across the US.

You will source leads, manage a robust pipeline, and articulate Paze’s digital checkout and wallet value to senior decision makers at banks, acquirers, and PSPs. This hunter role requires 8+ years in merchant payments/fintech, strong consultative selling, and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or other related field.
• Experience obtaining meetings with C-level decision-makers in banking, payments/fintech, eCommerce and merchant payment industries.
• 8+ years of consultative/strategic sales experience in a hunter role within merchant payments, eCommerce, or fintech/financial services.
• 3+ years in eCommerce wallet or wallet/alternative payment sales to enterprise merchants.
• Proven quota achievement and success selling in new, fast-changing, high-growth markets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong listening skills.
• Able to travel up to 50%.
• Strong organizational and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell Paze products to a targeted group of US merchants, resellers, and their customers.
• Develop influential relationships with senior decision-makers at US merchants and payment providers.
• Present the value and vision of Paze to stakeholders and negotiate agreements.
• Execute go-to-market adaptations to drive early adoption and growth.
• Coordinate account plans with channel partners and resellers to align with strategic sales actions.
• Record interactions in Salesforce with high accuracy for forecasting.
