Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a credentialed Professional Engineer with 7–10 years of experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing to lead Facility Condition Assessment projects for large portfolios across the U.S. and worldwide.

The role emphasizes mechanical design knowledge, client-driven requirements, and mentorship of project teams. Preferred location is Atlanta, GA, but candidates from other U.S. offices may be considered.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 7-10 years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years conducting facility condition assessments.
• Experience using mobile field data collection devices.
• Knowledge of BUILDER SMS software.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
• Ability to travel 75% or more and work flexible hours.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent technical writing skills for proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and WBS.

Responsibilities

• Understand and implement project work plans and quality management plans; lead teams to meet client requirements.
• Serve as subject matter expert for Mechanical discipline; mentor team members and leadership.
• Assess client facilities to determine physical condition, remaining service life, and code compliance.
• Utilize tablet-based systems to document building systems and justify condition determinations.
• Assess multiple buildings daily within large complexes; prioritize critical components and supporting systems.
• Lead small to large assessor teams and report status daily.
• Establish standard practices for complex scenarios; ensure contract scope is met.
• Collaborate effectively with project team members and clients; support learning and knowledge transfer.
