Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a credentialed Professional Engineer in the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) arena with 7-10 years of experience to design, construct, manage, and assess facility systems.

The role focuses on leading Facility Condition Assessment projects for large portfolio clients across the United States and globally. The preferred location is the Atlanta, GA area, but qualified candidates from other U.S.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 7-10 years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience conducting facility condition assessments.
• Experience using mobile computer system devices for field data collection.
• Knowledge of facility condition assessment software such as BUILDER SMS.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Valid passport or ability to obtain a passport.
• US citizenship required due to client requirements.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to travel 75% or more and work flexible hours.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
• Excellent technical writing skills and experience drafting proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and WBS.

Responsibilities

• Understand and implement project work plans and quality management plans.
• Mentor and advise team members and leadership.
• Assess client facilities to determine physical condition, remaining service life, and code compliance.
• Document building systems using tablet-based field data collection and justify condition determinations.
• Lead assessments across multiple buildings in large complexes and manage teams.
• Ensure quality requirements and scope of work compliance.
• Establish standard practices for complex scenarios.
• Collaborate effectively with project teams and clients.
• Demonstrate mentoring to grow team experience and tackle market changes.
• Respond to proposals with clear technical requirements and timely delivery.
