Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a credentialed Professional Engineer (MEP) with 7-10 years of experience to lead Facility Condition Assessments for large portfolios in the United States and globally. The role emphasizes mechanical systems expertise and project leadership across multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 7-10 years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years of facility condition assessments.
• Experience using mobile devices for field data collection.
• Knowledge of facility condition assessment software such as BUILDER SMS.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Valid passport or ability to obtain a passport.
• US citizenship is required.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Travel 75%+ or more; flexible hours.
• Proven writing skills for proposals, cost estimates, schedules.

Responsibilities

• Understand and implement project work plans and quality plans; lead teams to meet client requirements.
• Mentor team members and advise leadership on best practices.
• Assess client facilities to determine physical condition and remaining service life.
• Use tablet-based systems to inventory building systems and justify condition assessments.
• Assess multiple buildings daily within large complexes; identify major components.
• Lead small to large teams; report status daily and ensure scope compliance.
• Collaborate with project team members and clients; maintain professional communication.
• Teach techniques and mentor others to grow experience base.
• Respond to proposals with clear technical requirements and timelines.
