Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a credentialed Professional Engineer in the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) arena with 7–10 years of experience to lead Facility Condition Assessment projects across the United States and worldwide. The role demands deep knowledge of mechanical systems, strong writing, and the ability to manage large teams and client expectations.

Preferred location is Atlanta, GA, but qualified candidates from other U.S. offices, including Pittsburgh, PA, may be considered.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years of facility condition assessments.
• Experience using mobile data collection devices in the field.
• Knowledge of facility condition assessment software such as BUILDER SMS.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Valid passport or ability to obtain one; US citizenship required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Willingness to travel 75%+ and flexible hours.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 and strong technical writing.
• Able to manage multiple facilities and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Facility Condition Assessment projects for large portfolio clients.
• Mentor team members and advise leadership on mechanical discipline.
• Assess client facilities to determine physical condition and remaining life.
• Document building systems using tablet-based tools.
• Coordinate assessments across multiple buildings within large complexes.
• Communicate effectively with project teams and clients.
• Develop and implement standard practices for complex scenarios.
• Respond to proposals with clear technical writing and cost estimates.
