Job summary

m2e Consulting Engineers in South and Central Florida seeks a Mechanical Engineer with 4+ years of post-degree experience in construction, design, inspection or estimating to contribute to HVAC and building systems projects.

You will prepare drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and schedules, travel to job sites, review changes, and mentor junior team members. A Florida driver’s license is required; strong technical knowledge and initiative are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• 4+ years post-degree in construction, design, inspection, or estimating.
• Strong HVAC design background with plumbing inspection experience.
• Florida Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drawings, specs, cost estimates, schedules for client issuance.
• Identify complex problems and devise innovative cross-disciplinary solutions.
• Review contracts, conduct pre-construction meetings, approve changes.
• Travel to job sites and report progress.
• Enter time daily and manage project budgets.
