Job summary

m2e Consulting Engineers in South and Central Florida seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead and manage multi-disciplinary projects from concept through construction. The role requires strong leadership, field experience, and the ability to deliver quality results on time and within budget.

You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with clients and internal teams, and drive design development for HVAC, plumbing and related systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Active Florida Professional Engineer license or reciprocity to Florida within 6 months
• Valid contractor license (building, mechanical, electrical, or plumbing) preferred
• Valid State of Florida Driver's License and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple complex engineering projects, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget compliance
• Oversee design development, plan preparation, specifications, and project execution
• Mentor and guide junior staff and support professional growth
• Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success
• Monitor progress, assess risks, and implement corrective actions
• Participate in field activities such as site visits and data collection
