Job summary

m2e Consulting Engineers is seeking a Senior Project Engineer in Florida to lead and manage complex mechanical engineering projects, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget alignment. You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with clients, and drive technical excellence across design, field activities, and project controls.

Strong background in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection with a Florida P.E. license or ability to obtain quickly is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Active Florida P.E. license or ability to reciprocate to Florida within six months.
• Florida contractor license preferred.
• Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence.
• Lead and support a team of engineers and staff.
• Oversee design development, plans, specs, and execution.
• Review technical documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams for project success.
• Monitor progress and mitigate risks.
