Job summary

m2e Consulting Engineers is a full-service engineering consultancy in South and Central Florida. The Senior Project Engineer will lead complex projects, oversee design development, and manage budgets while mentoring staff and coordinating with clients.

Requirements include a Mechanical Engineering degree and a Florida P.E. license with field experience. The role involves fieldwork, site visits, and collaboration across teams in a busy, growth-focused firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Active Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or eligible with 6 months to reciprocate.
• Valid contractor license (building, mechanical, electrical, plumbing) preferred.
• 7+ years of pre- or post-degree experience in construction, design, inspection or budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and scope.
• Lead and support a team of engineers, consultants and technical staff.
• Oversee design development, plan preparation, specifications, and project execution.
• Review engineering documents, reports and plans for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with clients and internal/external stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Mentor and guide junior staff, supporting their technical and professional growth.
