Addison Group is partnering with a respected professional association within the corporate governance industry in Arlington, VA. The Senior Account Executive, Membership will drive new business growth with a consultative approach, engaging C-suite leaders and board members to deliver tailored solutions.

You will own the full sales cycle, build trusted relationships, and work cross-functionally to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B sales experience in professional services or consultative sales.
• Experience engaging C-Suite executives and boards within Fortune 500 environments.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
• Strong MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new membership accounts in an assigned territory.
• Conduct discovery conversations to understand goals and tailor solutions.
• Own full sales lifecycle from prospecting through closing.
• Develop relationships with executive leaders and board members.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding.
• Maintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasting, and CRM documentation.
• Provide guidance to junior sales or membership staff.
• Stay current on industry trends and sales strategies.
