SECU is seeking a Member Services Officer to handle account maintenance, open accounts, and assist in consumer lending. The role requires strong communication and a proactive approach to helping members with a range of banking services, including basic accounts, wires, and referrals to advisory services.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; preferred Bachelor’s degree, CCUE certification, or an AA/AS via NC-CTP.
• Ability to meet people and develop member confidence, respect and trust in the credit union.
• Demonstrated proficiency in all Member Services Officer responsibilities.

Responsabilités

• Comply with Credit Union policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of member information and limit account access to authorized purposes.
• Provide courteous, professional service via in-person, phone, and digital channels.
• Process transactions and balance cash drawers as required by performance criteria.
• Assist with loans within assigned limits or present higher-approval cases to senior staff.
• Support community events and promotional activities to enhance SECU’s presence.

Formation

High school diploma or GED

Bachelor’s degree, CCUE, or Associate via NC-CTP
